Founded in 1932 by Fritz Reimers, northern German company KILIA has been building meat processing and special machinery for over 75 years. During the first decades, under the aegis of the founder, the main focus was on butcher machines for the German market.  A diversified range of small meat processing machinery was built, including for example band saws, mincers, bowl cutters and fillers.

As the company grew it was necessary to expand the equipment range of food processing machinery produced by KILIA.  KILIA now manufacturers Bowl Cutters, Vacuum and Vacuum Cooking Bowl Cutters (20-750 litres), Mincers (B98 up to ZW 220), Frozen Meat Mincers and -Breakers as well as Mixers (500 up to 2000 litres).  Complete processing lines for all kind of foodstuff industries form another very important part of the product range.
